About this fabric

Printed on a 132cm-wide fabric of 60% Linen, 33% Viscose and 7% Polyester, Ariadne Aqua has a relaxed linen handle with a slightly softened surface that suits both curtains and upholstery. The design repeats in vertical garlands, with teal rings, sage leaves and small gold accents giving the pattern a gentle antique feel. The aqua tones are cool and fresh against the pale ground, while the darker outline work stops the overall effect from becoming too delicate. With no performance finish noted, this is a fabric best chosen for decorative schemes where the colour and pattern can do the talking.

How to use it

It works beautifully against painted joinery, pale oak and chalky neutrals, where the aqua and sage detailing can echo a soft coastal or country palette. Use it on a pair of full-length curtains or a statement armchair to bring pattern without overwhelming the room.
