About this fabric

Kennet Stripe Teal from the Brett Weaves collection by Colefax and Fowler is a woven fabric with vertical stripes and a horizontal repeat of approximately 14cm. The 144cm-wide cloth is composed of 50% cotton, 24% polyester, 22% viscose, 3% linen and 1% polyamide, giving it a textured, lightly slubbed surface. In this colourway, the teal reads as muted and slightly dusty against the pale beige base, so the stripe feels refined rather than bold. The fine stripe structure and balanced composition make it a versatile fabric with a neat, smart finish. Care code Q 8 < T 3 and fire code √BM are noted for this specific fabric.

How to use it

Use it where you want a quiet hit of colour: on a tailored armchair, classic blinds or relaxed curtains. The soft teal sits especially well with oak, chalky whites and other weathered neutrals.

A restrained teal stripe that works beautifully on tailored upholstery or crisp curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
