Medway Old Blue

Brett Weaves FabricF4646-02

Medway Old Blue shows a fine woven texture in a cool, quietly faded blue with a soft grey cast. The surface reads crisp and tailored rather than bold, with the small-scale pattern giving the cloth gentle movement.

About this fabric

This colourway has an airy, muted blue tone that sits between powder and slate, so it feels calm rather than bright. The interlaced weave is clearly visible in the image, creating a neat small-scale texture with a slightly mottled look as the light catches the raised threads. It is a versatile fabric with a 142cm approx width and a composition of 44% viscose, 30% cotton, 14% linen and 12% polyester, giving it a balance of softness, body and natural texture. The V 22cm / H 18cm approx repeat confirms the design has a regular woven rhythm, while the √BM fire rating and care code Q 8 < T 3 add practical specification detail.

How to use it

Use Medway Old Blue on a tailored armchair, banquette or Roman blind where its cool grey-blue tone can soften warm woods and painted finishes. It pairs especially well with chalk white, pale oak and deeper navy accents.

A cool, understated blue weave that works neatly across upholstery and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
