Lewis Blue shows a softly patterned surface in a cool, muted blue that reads calm rather than bright. The fine vertical repeat gives the cloth a subtle, tailored rhythm across the whole swatch.

About this fabric

Lewis Blue from the Delaney collection by Jane Churchill is woven in 100% Recycled Polyester, with a repeat of V 7cm / H 4cm approx and a width of 136cm approx. The visible ground is a pale blue-grey, lifted by a slightly darker, narrow all-over motif that gives the cloth a neat, lightly textured look. Its finish feels crisp and controlled rather than plush, and the small-scale pattern keeps the colourway understated from a distance while adding definition up close. The care code C 8 + T 3 and fire code K are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use this cool blue colourway where you want pattern without heaviness: it would sit neatly on a pair of armchairs, a tailored blind, or relaxed drapes. Its soft, airy tone pairs well with white, pale oak, and brushed metal finishes.

A cool, quietly patterned blue that works well on tailored upholstery or refined curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
