Alvaro Aqua has a cool, softly washed look, with a fine woven texture that keeps the colour feeling light and fresh. The pale blue-aqua ground reads quietly luminous rather than bright.

About this fabric

Woven in a blend of 47% viscose, 31% cotton, 13% linen and 9% polyester, Alvaro Aqua has the natural tactility of a linen-cotton cloth with a smoother, more polished finish. The 140cm width and zero repeat make it straightforward for both upholstery and drapery applications. In this colourway, the aqua sits in a restrained pastel register, with a misty blue cast and a subtle chalky softness across the weave. The result is an easy, airy cloth that feels calm and contemporary rather than bold or tropical.

How to use it

Use Alvaro Aqua on a small armchair, blind or loose cover where its cool pastel tone can soften darker woods and stone. It pairs well with white, shell, pale oak and other muted seaside shades.

An airy aqua that brings a calm, coastal freshness to relaxed interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
