About this fabric

Delaney in Edwin Blue is a patterned fabric with a small repeating diamond design and a woven look that sits neatly on a creamy beige ground. The blue motif has a softened duck-egg cast, so the overall effect is cooler than a neutral and gentler than a bright blue. With a width of approximately 139cm and a repeat of V 9cm / H 8cm approx, it should pattern nicely across both upholstery pieces and soft furnishings. The composition of 59% viscose, 29% cotton, 9% linen and 3% polyester gives the cloth a natural-textured appearance with a refined finish, while the Q 8 < T 3 care code and √BM fire code provide the practical specification details.

How to use it

This colourway works well with pale oak, putty linen and chalky paint finishes, where the blue diamonds can stay subtle and tailored. It also layers neatly with other muted blues and soft greys for a calm, coordinated scheme.

Use for elegant seating or curtains where a gentle blue pattern can add quiet detail.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
