Durrel Teal

Delaney FabricJ0245-01

Durrel Teal is a tightly woven geometric fabric with a mosaic-like surface of teal, stone and soft grey. The colourway feels cool and textural, with the pattern reading as broken blocks rather than a rigid repeat.

About this fabric

Durrel Teal from the Delaney collection by Jane Churchill has a versatile 136cm approximate width and a repeat of V 19cm / H 17cm approx. The composition blends 34% Recycled Polyester, 33% Polyester, 16% Viscose, 11% Cotton and 6% Linen, giving the cloth its crisp, tactile look. In this colourway the teal sits over a pale neutral ground, so the design has a fresh, slightly weathered feel rather than a bright or glossy finish. The woven surface shows a soft slub and a lively, pixelated geometry that adds movement without overpowering a room.

How to use it

This muted teal works well on an accent chair, bench seat or tailored curtains where you want pattern with a cooler, understated edge. Pair it with oatmeal, putty and weathered oak to let the green-blue notes stay calm and sharp.

Use with pale timber, chalky neutrals and brushed metal for a crisp, contemporary finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
