Corrin Teal

Elara FabricJ0305-06

Corrin Teal shows a small, rhythmic zigzag check that reads crisp and quiet rather than bold. The muted teal sits over a pale ground, giving the design a fresh but softened look.

About this fabric

This Elara fabric by Jane Churchill is composed of 65% cotton, 22% polyester and 13% linen, with an approximate width of 136cm and a repeat of V 4cm / H 8cm. The weave has a lightly textured, slubby surface that softens the geometric pattern and keeps the colourway from feeling flat. Corrin Teal is a cool, greyed teal on an airy neutral base, so the motif appears calm and neatly tailored rather than high contrast. Its mid-weight woven character and the square-scale repeat make it practical for both upholstery and drapery, depending on the room and the finish you want. The overall effect is neat, versatile and gently contemporary.

How to use it

Use Corrin Teal on a small armchair, banquette or blind where the fine repeat can add detail without overpowering the room. It pairs especially well with chalky whites, weathered oak and pale stone tones.

A restrained teal zigzag that works well for tailored upholstery or elegant curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Corrin Teal without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
