Edwin Teal

Delaney FabricJ0243-05

Edwin Teal shows a small geometric pattern of muted teal diamonds set across a soft beige ground. The woven finish gives the design a crisp, slightly textured look that feels orderly rather than busy.

About this fabric

Edwin Teal from the Delaney collection by Jane Churchill has a repeat of approximately V 9cm / H 8cm and a width of approximately 139cm. Its 59% viscose, 29% cotton, 9% linen and 3% polyester composition gives the cloth a refined, lightly textural handle with enough body for practical interior use. The colourway combines cool teal motifs with a warm beige background, so the pattern reads fresh but grounded rather than bright. The small-scale diamond layout is neatly regular, and the fine woven lines within each shape add movement and depth when the light catches the surface.

How to use it

Use it on an accent chair, cushions or tailored curtains where the muted teal can bring structure without overpowering the room. It sits especially well with oak, linen and stone tones, and the beige ground keeps it easy to layer into a calm scheme.

Pair with warm neutrals and timber to let the teal pattern stand out.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
