Holston Blue

Delaney FabricJ0238-01

Holston Blue shows a fine all-over geometric motif in a cool duck-egg blue on a pale ground. The effect is crisp and lightly woven, with just enough texture to keep the pattern from feeling flat.

About this fabric

Holston Blue from the Delaney collection by Jane Churchill is a 144cm-wide fabric with a repeat of approximately V 7cm and H 6cm. Its composition of 60% viscose, 23% cotton, 12% linen and 5% acrylic gives the cloth a soft, slightly dry hand with a subtle, woven finish. The small-scale geometric pattern reads as airy and precise in this colourway, with the blue sitting gently against the lighter background rather than appearing sharp or saturated. It has a fresh, tailored look that feels easy to place in both classic and contemporary interiors. The care code is Q 8 < T 3 and the fire code is √BM.

How to use it

Use Holston Blue on an occasional chair, blind or cushion where the small repeat can add detail without overpowering the room. Its cool, pale blue tone pairs well with chalky whites, weathered oak and other quiet neutrals.

A fresh duck-egg tone that works neatly on tailored seating or relaxed curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
