Tari Stripe Blue is a crisp, narrow stripe in a soft powder blue on a pale ground. The fine vertical lines give it a clean, tailored look without feeling harsh.

About this fabric

From Jane Churchill's Coro Small Prints collection, this fabric is woven in a 60% linen and 40% cotton blend with an approximate width of 130cm and a vertical repeat of 0cm / horizontal repeat of 10cm. The stripe reads as a cool, lightly muted blue with a calm, airy presence against the pale background, while the closely spaced pinstripes add a neat, finely judged rhythm. Its linen-cotton handle suggests a fabric with enough substance for either upholstery or drapery, depending on the project. The overall effect is fresh and smart rather than bold, with the blue staying soft enough to layer easily into a relaxed interior.

How to use it

Use it for tailored cushions, bench pads or Roman blinds where the narrow blue stripe can bring order and brightness. It sits especially well with pale woods, chalky whites and washed greys.

Fresh and tailored, this pale blue stripe works beautifully on clean-lined upholstery or airy curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Tari Stripe Blue without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
