Mirri Red

Coro Small Prints FabricJ0309-03

Mirri Red is a softly faded red-and-cream print with a fine, all-over small-scale motif. The pale ground keeps the pattern airy, while the blush red detailing gives it a warm, timeworn feel.

About this fabric

Woven in 59% cotton and 41% linen, this fabric has the natural handle and subtle texture you’d expect from a cotton-linen blend. The repeat is approximately V 11cm / H 22cm, creating a neat miniature pattern that reads as delicate from a distance and more intricate close up. In this colourway, the red is not bright or primary; it is softened with pink and cream so the overall effect feels gentle rather than bold. At 132cm wide and with no performance finish noted, it is a versatile decorative textile for schemes that want quiet colour and a refined printed look.

How to use it

Use Mirri Red on a pair of small armchairs, bedroom cushions or curtains where its softened red tone can warm pale walls. It sits particularly well with oat linen, weathered oak and aged brass.

A gentle red that layers easily with linen neutrals and polished woods.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
