About this fabric

This colourway has a rich ruby-red base that reads warm rather than blue, with tiny cream and blush motifs scattered tightly across the surface. The repeat is approximately V 35cm / H 23cm, giving the design a lively but orderly rhythm, and the pattern stays readable without feeling oversized on the 138cm-wide cloth. Its 84% viscose and 16% polyester composition suggests a soft handle with a subtle lustre, which suits the way the pale pattern catches against the deeper red ground. The result is a smart, decorative fabric that feels vivid and textured, with enough depth to hold its own in a room scheme. Care code Q 8 < T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for reference.

How to use it

This red works well where you want warmth and pattern without a heavy darkening effect, especially on a statement chair, blind or occasional headboard. Pair it with pared-back neutrals, dark timber or softened greens to let the ruby ground stay front and centre.

Use with walnut, plaster pink or deep green for a rich, tailored look.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
