Cleo Copper/Red

Cleo FabricJ0248-03

Cleo in Copper/Red shows a tightly dotted, all-over pattern in a warm coppery red, lifted by scattered blush-pink flecks. The effect is lively and textured rather than flat, with a richly speckled surface that catches the eye.

About this fabric

This Cleo fabric from Jane Churchill is composed of 84% viscose and 16% polyester, with an approximate width of 138cm and a repeat of V 35cm / H 23cm. In this colourway, the base reads as a strong red-orange copper, while the tiny pattern marks break it up with pale blush and soft pink highlights. The small-scale motif gives the cloth a busy, tactile look that feels warmer and earthier than a pure scarlet. With no performance features noted, it is best chosen for projects where the visual texture and colour depth are the main draw.

How to use it

Use Copper/Red to add warmth to a neutral room, especially against cream, stone or dark timber. Its lively small-scale pattern works well on occasional chairs, cushions, or full-length curtains where the red tone can glow in natural light.

A warm, peppery red that brings character to both upholstery and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
