Simbar Red

Cleo FabricJ0247-05

Simbar Red is a vivid, warm terracotta shade with a peppered, pixel-like abstract pattern that gives the surface plenty of movement. The lighter pinkish flecks lift the red and stop it reading too flat or heavy.

About this fabric

This Simbar colourway in the Cleo collection has a lively red base softened by coral and rose-toned highlights, creating a textured, almost mottled effect across the cloth. The design repeats at approximately V 30cm and H 35cm, giving the pattern a clear rhythm without feeling overly formal. Woven in 85% viscose and 15% polyester, the face has a subtle sheen and a fluid, upholstered fabric handle rather than a crisp dry finish. At approximately 140cm wide, it is a practical width for both curtains and occasional upholstery, and the √BM fire code is a useful specification for contract-aware schemes.

How to use it

Use Simbar Red to bring warmth to a small armchair, dining seat, or roman blind, where the mottled pattern can be seen up close. It pairs especially well with oak, walnut, chalk white, and muted ochre tones.

A lively terracotta red that works well on statement chairs or tailored curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
