About this fabric

This Jane Churchill fabric has a repeat of approximately V 5cm / H 6cm and a width of approximately 138cm, making the scale neat and controlled across a scheme. The composition of 68% viscose, 25% cotton and 7% linen gives the cloth a gently tactile finish with a soft handle. In this colourway, the taupe ground is warmed by sandy beige and muted gold details, so the pattern reads as heritage-inspired rather than high-contrast. The small geometric motif feels crisp and orderly, with enough depth in the weave to keep the surface visually alive. It is a versatile decorative fabric that sits comfortably between upholstery and drapery use.

How to use it

Use Delaney Taupe on an occasional chair, ottoman or tailored blind where its warm neutral palette can settle into a room without disappearing. It pairs especially well with oak, plaster pinks, aged brass and other soft natural textures.

A refined small-scale geometric that layers easily with wood, linen and muted metallics.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Delaney Taupe without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
