Delaney Blue

Delaney FabricJ0241-05

Delaney Blue reads as a soft, muted neutral with a cool sage-grey cast and a finely worked geometric surface. The small-scale pattern feels crisp but understated, with just enough tonal variation to keep the cloth lively.

About this fabric

Woven in 68% viscose, 25% cotton and 7% linen, Delaney Blue has a refined handle that sits comfortably in the mid-weight bracket and suits both upholstery and drapery. The repeat is a neat geometric arrangement, with vertical and horizontal elements set in a small 5cm by 6cm approx repeat across the 138cm approx width. In this colourway the cream ground is threaded with gentle grey, pale blue and soft mossy notes, so the design feels cooler and more subdued than a warm beige. The overall effect is tailored and quietly textured, with the pattern reading clearly without ever becoming busy. Care code Q 8 < T 3 and fire code √CM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Delaney Blue where you want a restrained patterned fabric to sit alongside painted joinery, pale timber and stone. Its cool sage-grey tone works especially well with chalky neutrals, blue-greys and softly weathered finishes.

Its muted sage-grey palette gives the pattern an easy, tailored look on upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
