About this fabric
From the Chesil collection by Linwood, this fabric is specified for fixed upholstery and has a Martindale rub test of 25,000, making it suitable for contract and general domestic use. The weave combines 47% viscose, 30% cotton, 8% polyester and 15% linen, which gives the surface a slightly dry, textured handle rather than a flat finish. In Blue Pool, the design feels cool and airy, with the blue sitting between aqua and duck egg while the lighter threads lift the chevron to create a soft contrast. It is 137cm wide and has an approximate vertical pattern repeat of 11cm, so the regular zigzag will show clearly across tailored seating. After care is dry clean, and the fabric meets A FR to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1.
How to use it
This blue-green colourway works well on a compact armchair, banquette or cushions where the small-to-medium chevron can add movement without overpowering the room. Pair it with pale oak, chalky whites or muted greens to keep the scheme light and coastal.
