About this fabric

Woven in a semi-plain construction, this colourway reads as a bright chartreuse with a lime undertone and a fine peppering of pale slubs that keep the surface from looking flat. The blend of 16% linen, 8% polyester, 31% cotton and 45% viscose gives it a dry-but-supple handle, while the 137cm width makes it straightforward for upholstery work. With a Martindale rub test of 35,000 and upholstery grading for Contract and General Domestic use, it is well suited to seating that needs both colour and resilience. It is also A rated to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1, and should be dry cleaned after use.

How to use it

Use Jetty Chartreuse on an occasional chair, banquette or headboard where the fresh green-yellow tone can lift timber, stone and neutral paintwork. It looks особенно sharp with chalk white, deep walnut and muted grey textiles.

A fresh chartreuse that brightens tailored upholstery without feeling too loud.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
