Blythe Shadow from Linwood’s Flori collection is a softly patterned linen with a cool sage-mint ground and pale leaf motifs. The design reads light and refined, with the floral repeat sitting quietly across the cloth.

About this fabric
Woven in 100% linen, this fabric has the natural slub and dry handle you can see in the softly textured ground. The repeated leaf-and-frond motif is worked in misty shadow-green and pale mint tones, giving the pattern a calm, faded look rather than a strong contrast. With a Martindale rub test of 30,000 and upholstery grade suited to general domestic use, it is well placed for fixed upholstery where a decorative finish is wanted as much as durability. It is also specified at 137cm wide, with an approximate 45cm vertical pattern repeat and BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1 compliance. Washing instructions note machine washing at 30C with around 3% shrinkage, though dry clean and delicate wash care are also listed.
How to use it
Use it on an occasional chair, bench or fixed banquette to bring a cool, botanical note into a pale scheme. The soft sage colouring works especially well with chalk white, weathered oak and brushed brass.
