About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, Blythe Pond is a fixed upholstery fabric with a 137cm width and a 45cm vertical pattern repeat. The linen ground gives the surface a natural, lightly textured character, while the painterly leaf motif sits in a fresh willow green that feels bright rather than dark or mossy. Small touches of pale blue-green scattered through the ground soften the contrast and keep the overall effect light and garden-like. With a Martindale rub test of 30,000 and a General Domestic upholstery grade, it is well suited to everyday seating. It is also FR rated to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1, and should be dry cleaned or washed delicately at 30°C with allowance for 3% shrinkage.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a statement armchair, dining chair or window seat where its fresh green leaf pattern can brighten a room. It sits especially well with limed timber, cream paintwork and soft blue accents.

Pair with pale oak and chalky neutrals to let the leaf pattern stay light and airy.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Blythe Pond without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
