About this fabric
Woven in 100% linen, Blythe Ghost has the relaxed texture and natural handle you expect from a linen cloth, while the 30,000 Martindale rub test makes it suitable for general domestic upholstery. Its BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1 fire rating adds further reassurance for fixed upholstery use. The colourway is a pale cream with a barely-there warm undertone, so the foliate pattern sits in gentle relief rather than as a stark print. At 137cm wide with an approximate 45cm vertical repeat, it is well suited to larger upholstered pieces where the scrolling motif can be seen clearly.
How to use it
Use Blythe Ghost on a sofa, armchair or banquet seat when you want pattern without strong colour. Its softened ivory tone also works well alongside oak, pale painted timber and layered neutrals, keeping a room light but not flat.
