About this fabric
Woven in 100% linen and sold by the metre, this Flori design has a natural slub and a crisp, breathable look that suits upholstery with a relaxed hand. The pattern repeats vertically every 27cm, with repeating flower stems set against pale green panels and cream stripe sections edged in yellow scallops. The moss tone is muted rather than bright, so the print reads calm and slightly weathered rather than vivid. With a Martindale rub test of 30,000 and an upholstery grade of General Domestic, it is well suited to everyday fixed seating. It is also FR rated to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1, and can be machine washed at 30C with allowance for 3% shrinkage.
How to use it
Use this moss stripe on a classic armchair, bench cushion or tailored window seat where the soft green will sit comfortably with painted wood and natural timbers. It also works well with warm neutrals and other quiet botanical prints, keeping the room light and layered.
