About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen and specified for fixed upholstery, Polly Wheat has the natural slub and relaxed handle you expect from a linen cloth. The surface shows an airy cream base with muted sage foliage, wheat-gold petals and tiny blue dots, giving the pattern a faded botanical feel rather than a bright print. Its 30,000 Martindale rub test and BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1 compliance make it well suited to general domestic seating. The 137cm width and 27cm half-drop repeat allow the repeating floral sprigs to settle neatly across chairs, benches or compact sofas. Care is listed as machine washable at 30C with 3% shrinkage, though dry cleaning and delicate 30C washing are also noted.

How to use it

This colourway works beautifully with limed oak, woven blinds and slipcovered furniture, where the wheat and sage palette can stay light and easy. Pair it with soft whites, putty tones and aged brass for a calm country scheme.

Use with pale timber and chalky neutrals for a fresh, country-led look.
