About this fabric
Woven in 100% linen, this Flori fabric has the relaxed handle and natural slub you’d expect from a linen cloth, with a 137cm width and a 30,000 Martindale rub test for general domestic upholstery. The design reads as a striped floral, with a washed cameo blue panel running between slim green borders and coral-red scalloped lines. The light ground and gentle blue colouring keep the pattern soft and airy, while the olive-green leaves give it enough contrast to stand out on seating. It is fixed upholstery fabric and is FR rated to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1, with machine washability at 30C and an allowance for 3% shrinkage.
How to use it
Use it on a small armchair, bench or headboard where the vertical stripe can show, and let the cameo blue sit against warm white paint or faded sage. It also works well in a casual coastal or cottage scheme with pale timber and simple ticking or plain linens nearby.
Pair with pale woods and chalky neutrals to keep the stripe fresh and airy.
