About this fabric
This colourway shows broad blue vertical stripes set against a light cream-linen base, with a fine dark outline that sharpens the stripe edges. The 100% linen cloth has a naturally dry, slightly slubby surface that suits the fabric’s simple stripe repeat. Supplied as a general domestic upholstery fabric with a 30,000 Martindale rub test, it is designed for fixed upholstery rather than soft drapery. It also conforms to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1, and is 137cm wide with dry clean care recommended, though it can be machine washed at 30C with 3% shrinkage allowed.
How to use it
Use it on an occasional chair, bench cushion or ottoman where the cool denim tone can bring structure to a pale scheme. It sits neatly with white-painted timber, chalky neutrals and other washed blues.
