About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, Lola Stripe Haystack has the relaxed, slightly crisp handle you expect from a natural cloth, while still offering a practical 30,000 Martindale rub test for general domestic use. The stripe reads as a soft haystack yellow against a creamy base, with the narrow scalloped outline at each edge giving the design a quiet, tailored detail. At 137cm wide, it is a versatile width for upholstered pieces as well as lighter interior schemes, and the BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1 rating adds reassuring suitability for everyday home use. Machine washable at 30C, with dry clean care also noted, it is a useful choice where a fresh but not glaring yellow is wanted. Allow 3% shrinkage when laundering.

How to use it

Use this colourway to lift oak, ash and painted timber, where its muted yellow note will add warmth without overpowering the room. It also sits neatly with cream, flax and olive for a calm, country-inspired palette.

A warm, easy stripe that works well with natural woods and pale neutrals.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
