Bronte Sunflower

Darwin Collection FabricBRONTE

Bronte Sunflower is a plain weave in a muted sunflower-gold tone, with a lightly heathered look that gives the surface depth. The finish reads warm and natural rather than glossy, so the colour feels settled and usable on its own.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a soft sunflower-gold ground with a gentle greenish warmth, lifted by the fine crosshatch of the weave visible across the surface. Made in India, this drapes-only fabric is composed of 68% recycled polyester and 32% polyester, with a substantial 448 g/lm weight and 320 g/sqm cloth density. The 140cm width makes it practical for curtain making, while the plain style and zero horizontal repeat keep the look clean and uninterrupted. Its matte, softly textured face gives the shade a quiet richness that avoids harsh brightness.

How to use it

Use Bronte Sunflower where you want curtains to bring warmth to grey, stone, or timber schemes without overwhelming them. The muted gold tone works especially well in rooms that need a little lift but still call for a calm, tailored finish.

A warm, easygoing gold that softens a room without feeling bright.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
