About this fabric

This colourway sits in a gentle shell beige, with a pale biscuit warmth that keeps it from reading stark or icy. The plain weave shows a delicate crosshatch texture at close range, giving the surface a quiet depth without any visible pattern repeat. Specified as drapes only, it has a substantial handle at 320gsm and a 140cm width, making it well suited to full-length curtains that fall with a clean, composed line. The 68% recycled polyester and 32% polyester composition supports a practical, stable drape while keeping the look soft and refined. Made in India, Bronte Shell is a versatile neutral for interiors that want warmth without adding strong colour.

How to use it

Use this shell tone for relaxed curtains in rooms with oak, linen and painted plaster finishes, where its warmth will soften sharper architectural lines. It works especially well as a quiet backdrop to layered neutrals and natural textures.

A quietly elegant neutral for airy curtains and soft, understated layering.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
