About this fabric

This plain velvet has the rich, softly directional surface you expect from a true upholstery cloth, with a subtle sheen that brightens the canary tone across the pile. Made from 60% polyester, 28% recycled polyester, 8% acrylic and 4% viscose, it is supplied at 137cm wide and is suitable for curtains, loose cover upholstery and fixed upholstery. Its 100,000 Martindale rub test and contract/general domestic upholstery grade make it a robust choice for demanding interior schemes. The FR rating conforms to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and Source 1, while the after-care guidance includes dry cleaning and a delicate 30°C wash.

How to use it

Use this colourway to bring warmth to a neutral sofa, accent chair or banquette, where its bright yellow finish will read crisp and contemporary. It also works well for curtains or cushions in rooms that need a lively splash of colour without a pattern competing for attention.
