About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric is a substantial woven textile, with a weight of 545 gsm and a dense 85 threads per cm, which supports upholstery use very well. The usable width is 130 cm and the pattern repeats every 61.5 cm vertically and 64.5 cm horizontally, so the large-scale trail has room to flow across a larger piece. In this colourway the yellow ground reads warm, saturated and cheerful rather than pale, helping the pink, lilac, green and cream florals stand out with clear contrast. The chinoiserie birds and butterflies feel especially vivid against the strong ground, giving the fabric a bold decorative presence.

How to use it

Use it on a standout armchair, ottoman or pair of dining chairs to bring a bright, gallery-like focal point into the room. It also works well as a blind or cushion fabric where the marigold ground can lift darker timber, painted finishes or neutral walls.

Use on statement seating or a blind where the vivid ground lets the chinoiserie motif sing.
