About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Water Garden Fabrics collection is a substantial 416gsm textile with a usable width of 132.5 cm, making it well suited to tailored interior schemes. The large floral design has a 70 cm vertical repeat and a full-width horizontal repeat of 132.5 cm, so the pattern lands boldly across the cloth. Visually, the midnight navy ground feels almost black at first glance, then reveals teal-green leaves, apricot blossoms and cream petals edged with warm orange. The dense print and weight give it a grounded, upholstered presence, while the bright palette keeps it lively rather than heavy.

How to use it

Use it on a sofa, armchair or ottoman where the dark ground can frame the floral colours and hide everyday wear. It also works beautifully with walnut, aged brass and pale painted trim for a dramatic but balanced room.

Pair with warm woods and brass to let the apricot and cream florals glow against the dark ground.
