Rosa Indigo

Waterperry Fabrics FabricSAF0168-01

Rosa Indigo pairs loose, painterly roses with a calm cream ground and a soft indigo-blue palette. The design feels airy and hand-brushed, with each bloom sitting lightly across the cloth.

About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric has a usable width of 138 cm and a generous 92 cm vertical repeat, so the large floral motif has room to breathe across curtains or statement upholstery. At 220 gsm and 73 threads per cm, it reads as a refined mid-weight textile with enough substance for versatile use. The colourway combines washed indigo petals, dusky blue-grey leaves and a warm ivory background, giving the print a gentle, slightly faded finish rather than a sharp navy contrast. The brushy outlines and layered petals keep the roses soft and romantic, while the repeat size gives the pattern a confident, decorative presence.

How to use it

The cool indigo notes sit beautifully against white-painted joinery, weathered oak and linens in dove grey or stone. It is an easy choice for a relaxed bedroom, a sitting room armchair or full-length curtains where the pale ground will help lift the room.

Use with pale timber, chalky paints and natural linens for a fresh country feel.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
