About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Water Garden Fabrics collection is a substantial textile with a weight of 402 gsm, a usable width of 142.5 cm and a standard length of 60 m. The pattern repeat is large at 116 cm vertical and 141 cm horizontal, which suits the generous, branching layout seen in the image. In this colourway, cinnabar red reads as a rich, warm red rather than a blue-based crimson, and it sits against soft cream ground tones with olive, leaf green, blush and terracotta accents. The printed effect has a traditional decorative feel, but the bright red flowers and fresh green foliage keep it looking energetic rather than heavy.

How to use it

Use it on a feature armchair, ottoman or headboard where the warm red blooms can add depth against painted neutrals. It also works well with natural woods, mossy greens and muted golds to echo the palette in the cloth.
