About this fabric

Emperor Peony Herbal Blue / Amber is a substantial printed fabric with a weight of 402gsm and a usable width of 140.5cm, making it well suited to either upholstery or drapery. The large 72.5cm vertical repeat and full-width 140.5cm horizontal repeat suit the generous, all-over floral layout visible here. In this colourway, the ground reads as a saturated peacock blue, giving the cream blossoms and amber-tinted petals strong contrast without looking harsh. The leaves and small bird motifs add fresher notes of green, blush and pale sky blue, so the overall effect feels jewel-toned rather than dark.

How to use it
