About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Water Garden Fabrics collection has a usable width of 130 cm, a standard length of 35 m, and a substantial 545 gsm weight with 85 threads per cm. The cloth appears to be a robust woven fabric suited to upholstery, with enough body for structured cushions, seat pads and occasional curtains. In this colourway the background is a mellow cream rather than a stark white, which softens the red, pink and yellow floral notes and gives the motif a sunlit, slightly aged character. The repeat is generous, with a vertical repeat of 61.5 cm and a horizontal repeat of 64.5 cm, so the sweeping stems and birds have room to breathe across larger pieces.

How to use it

Pair this warm cream palette with painted wood, rattan and natural linen for a layered, collected look. It works especially well in rooms that need pattern, but still want the ground colour to feel light and easy.
