Water Garden Fabrics FabricSAF0382-01

About this fabric

Crane & Frog Lotus Pink/Gosling from Sanderson’s Water Garden Fabrics collection is a patterned fabric with a usable width of 140 cm and a generous 68.5 cm vertical repeat, so the full water-garden motif has room to breathe across a wider run. At 236 gsm, it sits in a versatile mid-weight range that works well for both curtains and lighter upholstery applications. The print feels airy rather than dense: pale lotus pink blossoms, soft olive leaves and washed greens are set against an ivory base, with the birds and reeds picked out in delicate sketch-like linework. The overall effect is fresh, romantic and lightly vintage, with the pinks reading blush-toned rather than sugary or bright.

How to use it

This colourway works beautifully in rooms that want a gentle, decorative focal point without heavy colour saturation. Pair its soft pinks and water-garden greens with painted wood, pale oak and quiet neutrals to keep the scene feeling light.

Use on drapes or occasional upholstery to let the pale pinks and fresh garden greens read softly against the room.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Crane & Frog Lotus Pink/Gosling without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
