Tuscany Calico

Tuscany II Weaves FabricSAF0130-11

Tuscany Calico is a softly textured neutral with a warm, chalky cream appearance and a gently rustic woven surface. The close-up weave shows subtle tonal variation that keeps the colourway from reading flat.

About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Tuscany II Weaves collection has a substantial 344 gsm handle and a usable width of 137.5 cm, making it well suited to upholstered pieces. The weave is clearly visible in the image, with a softly slubbed, basket-like texture and no pattern repeat, so the surface interest comes entirely from the cloth itself. Tuscany Calico reads as a warm cream with beige undertones and a lightly sunlit cast, more natural and relaxed than a bright white. At 56 threads per cm, it has a closely worked structure that still shows a tactile, woven character rather than a smooth finish.

How to use it

Use Tuscany Calico on armchairs, banquettes or loose covers where its warm neutral tone can soften heavier shapes. It pairs especially well with timber, linen and muted clay accents, letting the texture add interest without overwhelming the room.

A warm, softly slubbed neutral that brings texture without demanding attention.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
