Strandlines Seaspray & Pewter

Sheers FabricSAF0513-01

Strandlines Seaspray & Pewter has a pale, airy look with soft cream ground and cool seaspray and pewter shading running through the surface. The fabric reads light and gently textured, with the pattern becoming visible as the light shifts across it.

About this fabric

This Sanderson Sheers fabric has a 300 cm usable width, a 35 m standard length and a 134 gsm weight, making it well suited to full-window drapery. The surface shown in the image is softly translucent, with a fine, lightly slubbed texture that catches the light rather than reflecting it sharply. Its palette is predominantly creamy ivory, lifted by restrained pewter marks and a faint greenish-seaspray cast that gives the colourway a cool, coastal softness. The 66 cm vertical repeat and 60 cm horizontal repeat suggest an ordered pattern that still feels relaxed because of the airy weave and hazy tonal variation. It is a graceful choice when you want a sheer that feels refined without looking crisp or stark.

How to use it

Use it for long curtain panels, layered over blinds or a privacy lining, where the pale seaspray tone can soften daylight. It works especially well with weathered oak, chalky whites and muted blue-grey accents.

A sheer, softly luminous choice for calm curtains with a coastal feel.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Strandlines Seaspray & Pewter without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
