About this fabric

This fabric is supplied as a 141 cm usable-width textile on a 60 m standard length, with a 75.5 cm vertical repeat and a full-width 141 cm horizontal repeat. At 300 gsm and 16 threads per cm, it has enough substance for either curtains or upholstery, depending on the look and handling you want. Visually, the ground is a creamy wheat tone rather than a stark white, so the repeating red lattice feels softened and slightly antique. The fig colour in the trellis is warm and earthy, while the small birds, branches and animals are picked out in muted blue, olive, ochre and brown for a quiet but detailed finish.

How to use it

This colourway works well in rooms with timber, painted woodwork or upholstered antiques, where the wheat background can lift darker pieces. Use it for lined curtains, a reading-chair recover or a bench seat to bring in a traditional country-house note without the pattern feeling too heavy.

Use for statement curtains or upholstered accent pieces where the foliate and bird motifs can be fully seen.
