Paradise Woods Toile Mustard

Sanderson x National Trust Volume II FabricSAF0481-02

Paradise Woods Toile Mustard is a luminous toile with birds, branches and trailing foliage drawn across a pale ground. The mustard-gold print gives the design a warm, sunlit character that feels elegant rather than brash.

About this fabric

This Sanderson x National Trust Volume II fabric has a usable width of 137.5 cm and a substantial 230gsm weight, making it a versatile cloth for either curtains or lighter upholstery applications. The pattern repeats every 43 cm vertically and 68.5 cm horizontally, so the bird-and-branch motif has plenty of room to unfold across the surface. In this colourway, the linework reads as a soft mustard with hints of antique gold, set against an airy off-white ground that keeps the toile feeling bright. The overall effect is decorative and period-inspired, but the pale background stops the design from looking too dense or overly formal.

How to use it

Use it where you want pattern and warmth without darkening the room: on curtains, occasional chairs or a classic headboard. It pairs especially well with painted timber, aged brass and creamy neutrals that echo the soft ground.

A refined mustard toile that adds warmth and period charm without feeling heavy.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Paradise Woods Toile Mustard without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
