Palermo yellow

Palermo Fabricpalermo/fa1/sun

Palermo Yellow is a softly mottled mustard-gold fabric with a low, velvety surface and an even plain appearance. The colour sits between antique gold and olive-tinged yellow, giving it a grounded warmth rather than a bright citrus look.

About this fabric

This colourway is made from 100% polyester and is supplied 140cm wide with a 40,000 Martindale rub test, making it suitable for curtains, blinds and upholstery. Visually, the fabric reads as a dense, softly textured plain with a subtle nap that catches the light in a gentle, matte way. The yellow tone is muted and earthy, closer to aged mustard or dry honey than a clear primary yellow, which helps it feel calm and versatile. It is dry clean only and should not be ironed, so it suits projects where a neat, tailored finish is needed without a crisp pressed surface.

How to use it

Use Palermo Yellow to bring warmth to upholstered chairs, ottomans or a headboard without overpowering a room. It pairs especially well with natural timber, ivory paintwork and deeper greens, where its softened gold tone feels rich and settled.

A warm mustard tone that works neatly across tailored upholstery and classic curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
