Palermo Fabricpalermo/fa1/aco

Palermo Brown is a quietly textured fabric with a deep mushroom-brown surface and a soft, matte finish. The colour reads earthy and understated, with a subtle mottled depth that keeps it from feeling flat.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, Palermo Brown is supplied at 140cm wide with a 40,000 Martindale rub count, making it a practical choice for upholstery as well as curtains and blinds. The cloth has a dense, velvety-looking surface with no visible pattern repeat, so the focus stays on its even, stone-brown tone and low-key texture. Its appearance is warm and grounded rather than chocolate-dark, with lighter flecks in the weave giving the shade a natural, softly aged quality. Dry clean only and do not iron.

How to use it

Use this brown colourway on a sofa, bench seat or headboard where you want a calm, tailored look with subtle texture. It pairs neatly with oak, bronzed metals and cream linens, and the muted depth makes it especially strong in tonal schemes.

A grounded brown that works beautifully on tailored seating and quiet, textural cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
