Palermo orange
Palermo Fabricpalermo/fa1/sie
Palermo Orange shows as a richly grounded burnt orange with a softly mottled surface and a warm, earthy glow. The finish looks substantial and tactile, with the colour reading deeper in the shadows and lighter at the raised texture.

About this fabric
Woven in 100% polyester, this fabric has a dependable 40,000 Martindale rub test and a weight of 452gsm, making it well suited to upholstery as well as curtains and blinds. The swatch presents a warm terracotta-orange tone with a muted, earthy cast rather than a bright citrus note, so it feels inviting and settled. Its surface has a fine, even texture that softens the colour and gives the cloth visual depth across the full width of 140cm. With no pattern repeat, the look stays clean and uninterrupted, which helps this colourway work beautifully on larger upholstered pieces.
How to use it
Use Palermo Orange to add warmth to a chair, banquette or ottoman, especially alongside natural woods, brown leather and textured neutrals. It also brings a cosy, late-summer richness to curtains or Roman blinds in rooms that need a stronger accent without harshness.
A warm burnt orange with a tactile finish that brings depth to seating and statement cushions.

Pairs well with
Palermo orange is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
