Burma Document
Burma Fabric
Burma Document brings together a patchwork of woven geometric motifs in earthy terracotta, tobacco and cream. The design reads as warm, aged and richly patterned, with the red tones giving the swatch a grounded, sunbaked feel.

About this fabric
This Warwick fabric is made from 100% polyester and is suitable for both curtaining and upholstery, with a 137 cm width and a robust 60,000+ Martindale rub test. The colourway combines terracotta red, sand and deep brown with lighter cream accents, so the overall effect is warm rather than bright. The large 68.5 x 68.5 cm repeat suits the bold, tile-like patchwork look visible in the image, where each motif feels distinct but still connected. The surface appears textured and tapestry-like, with the darker outlines giving the pattern clear definition and a slightly timeworn character.
How to use it
Use this colourway on a statement chair, ottoman or curtains where its terracotta base can warm timber, leather and linen. It works especially well in rooms with muted walls, where the patterned blocks can become the main visual feature.
Layer with natural woods and muted neutrals to let the warm red pattern stand out.
Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Burma Document without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
