Tivoli brown
Tivoli Fabrictivoli/fa1/aco
Tivoli Brown reads as a deep, earthy brown with a softly mottled surface and visible linen-rich texture. The finish feels understated and natural rather than glossy.

About this fabric
This colourway shows a dark, muted brown with warm undertones, lifted by the fine irregularity of the weave and the subtle slub of the linen content. At 350gsm, it has the substance expected of a versatile furnishing fabric, while the 90,000 martindale rating confirms it is well suited to upholstery as well as curtains and blinds. The 54% polyester, 36% viscose and 10% linen composition gives the surface a dry, tactile handle and a softly blended look rather than a flat solid. With no repeat to consider, it is an easy option for larger upholstered pieces and clean-lined window treatments alike.
How to use it
Use it for a tailored sofa, ottoman or relaxed curtains where a deep brown brings warmth without feeling heavy. It pairs especially well with natural woods, chalky neutrals and muted olive or clay accents.
A grounded brown with a natural linen slub that works well across soft furnishing schemes.

Pairs well with
Tivoli brown is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
