About this fabric

This colourway shows a soft white-ivory ground with subtle flecks and slubs that give the weave a relaxed, tactile character. The surface has the look of a linen blend, while the 54% polyester, 36% viscose and 10% linen composition helps explain its smooth, substantial handle. At 350gsm and with a 90,000 Martindale rub test, it is robust enough for upholstery as well as curtains and blinds. The usable width is 138cm, and the design has no pattern repeat, so it offers a clean, understated finish across larger runs.

How to use it

Use this pale ivory to lighten a room without making it feel cold; it works especially well on armchairs, simple sofas and softly tailored curtains. The warm undertone pairs neatly with oak, chalky paint colours and muted taupe or sage accents.

A quiet ivory that works neatly on both tailored curtains and clean-lined upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
