Kielder Stripe Linen

Embleton Bay Fabrics FabricSAF0231-02

Kielder Stripe Linen in Sand shows a quietly tonal stripe with broad, pale bands set against a clear white ground. The effect is light and understated, with a soft warm ivory reading that keeps the design calm rather than contrasty.

About this fabric

This woven fabric has a substantial 500 gsm body and a useful 138 cm width, giving the stripe a crisp, structured presence on upholstery. The pattern repeat is 35 cm horizontally with no vertical repeat, so the broad bands run cleanly and evenly across the cloth. Visually, the stripe appears as muted cream and soft ivory with a linen-like surface that catches light gently rather than shining. With no performance features noted, it suits schemes that want a refined natural look and a measured, classic stripe.

How to use it

Use this pale stripe on a sofa, bench or armchair where the broad vertical banding can add height without feeling busy. It works especially well with honey woods, chalk paint and other warm neutrals that echo its soft ivory tone.

Pair with natural oak and pared-back linens for a calm, tailored scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
