Dune Hares Mist/Pebble

About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Embleton Bay Fabrics collection is a woven textile with a usable width of 140 cm and a substantial 252 gsm weight, making it a versatile mid-weight cloth. The design repeats vertically at 72.5 cm and horizontally at 140 cm, so the hares and wild grasses flow across the cloth in a broad, uninterrupted scene. In this colourway, the background reads as soft cream with pebble-grey linework, pale sage undertones and just a whisper of taupe in the rabbits’ fur. The print feels light and hazy rather than sharp, which suits the gentle, coastal mood of the name and keeps the pattern from feeling heavy.

How to use it

Use it on relaxed armchairs, café-style curtains or a calm upholstered headboard where the pale misty ground can open up the room. It pairs especially well with weathered oak, chalky paint colours and soft green accents.

A soft, airy animal design that keeps a room calm and light.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Dune Hares Mist/Pebble without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
