Curlew Indigo/Natural

Embleton Bay Fabrics FabricSAF0225-02

Curlew Indigo/Natural is shown here as a soft, oyster-toned neutral with a fine, even weave and a gentle slubbed surface. Its pale colouring reads calm and understated, with just enough texture to keep the cloth from looking flat.

About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric has a substantial 530gsm weight and a usable width of 142 cm, which supports its use on hardworking upholstery pieces. The swatch presents as a warm cream with a faint natural cast, and the tiny woven irregularities give the surface a quiet, tactile grain. With no visible pattern repeat, it feels clean and unobtrusive, letting the weave and tonal variation do the work. The overall effect is light but grounded, making the colourway look more oyster than bright white.

How to use it

Use this colourway on armchairs, banquettes or cushions where you want a soft neutral that still shows texture. It pairs especially well with pale oak, aged brass and chalky blues for a relaxed, layered scheme.

A quietly textured neutral that works beautifully on tailored seating and layered natural interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
